Reid sees Clinton presidency, says Senate loss would be disaster ‘for Hillary’

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has teamed with Hillary Clinton’s unofficial presidential campaign outfit, Ready for Hillary, to beg for cash to help her effort to save the Senate and maybe her potential presidency.

In his clearest sign he expects Clinton to run and win the presidency in 2016, Reid said in an email fundraiser that a Republican Senate would be a “disaster … for Hillary.”

Reid said in a Ready for Hillary email, “Hillary is doing everything she can, but she can’t do it alone.”

He added: “A Republican Senate would be a disaster —for you, for me, for Hillary, and for our country.”

Incredible! Hillary Clinton just announced that “six strong Democratic women candidates have a chance to save the Senate.”

But the race for the Senate is so very close. Right now, SIX races are tied. If the Republicans win just three of them, they will take over.

Democrats have launched an enormous voter mobilization project to STOP a Republican takeover, but the election is in just 23 days and we need your help IMMEDIATELY. Time is running out!

Hillary is doing everything she can, but she can’t do it alone. Will you stand with Hillary and help elect strong Democratic women to the Senate?

Hillary herself warned that your support “will decide whether we can mobilize enough voters to win these close races, or if we’ll hand the Senate over to the Tea Party.”

A Republican Senate would be a disaster — for you, for me, for Hillary, and for our country.

Equal pay for equal work? Not happening. Abortion rights? Rolled back. Social Security and Medicare? Don’t count on them.

But right now, YOU can stop the GOP and hand them a DEVASTATING defeat in 23 days.

Will you answer Hillary’s call to action? Please contribute today to protect our Democratic Senate majority.

Thank you,

Sen. Harry Reid

Democratic Majority Leader
