PARIS (AP) — French officials say an explosive device detonated outside a tax office in a southern city, causing minor damage to the building.

Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici and budget minister Bernard Cazeneuve condemned Wednesday’s attack in Aix-en-Provence and said they are closely following the ongoing police investigation into the attack. According to French news reports, “FLNP” graffiti was found on the building, the name of a little known Provencal independence movement.
