President Trump ratcheted up his condemnation of “wacky” Rep. Frederica Wilson, tweeting Saturday the Florida Democrat is “killing” the Democratic Party.
“I hope the Fake News Media keeps talking about Wacky Congresswoman Wilson in that she, as a representative, is killing the Democrat Party!”, Trump said in the morning.

The tweet is the latest salvo in a war of words between the White House and Wilson, who last week accused Trump of being insensitive during a condolence call with the widow, Myeshia Johnson, of a soldier, Army Sgt. La David Johnson, who died earlier this month while serving in Niger.
The White House has pushed back on her allegations, even as Cowanda Jones-Johnson, La David Johnson’s mother, backed up Wilson’s claim, saying, “President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband.”
White House chief of staff John Kelly offered up an emotional defense of Trump’s calls to Gold Star families on Thursday, and said he was “stunned” that Wilson listened in to the conversation.
Wilson has fired back, saying that Kelly’s characterization of her as an “empty barrell” was “racist,” and then took it a step further, saying the White House is “full of white supremacists.”
Several Democrats have come out in defense of Wilson, and MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell accused Kelly of “dehumanizing” Wilson, and blamed his comments on his “segregated” Boston upbringing.
