THE DAILY OUTRAGE: We wouldn’t go to Arkansas even with the subsidy

WHO: Boone County, Ark. Regional Airport

WHAT: A three-airport consortium in Arkansas will get a $150,000 federal grant from the Small Community Air Service Development Program, which is designed to help small out-of-the way communities attract more air traffic to reduce airfares.

WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: Boone County Regional Airport manager Judy McCutcheon said she plans to spend her entire $50,000 government subsidy marketing just one carrier: SeaPort Airlines.

WHERE TO VENT: Call McCutcheon at 870-741-6954.
