2014 season opener will be played on Labor Day weekend
When the Ohio State and Navy football teams agreed to a home-and-home series, the first game was played last fall at Ohio Stadium. The only question was where the reciprocal match would be in 2014.
On Friday, the Baltimore Business Journal reported that the game is set for M&T Bank Stadium. FedEx Field in Landover was in the running and offered a higher capacity (91,700) than M&T Bank (71,000), but Navy has a long association with the Baltimore Stadium. The 2014 Army-Navy game will be played there.
The 2011 Army-Navy game is set for FedEx.
