Just two weeks after her death, speculation is already swirling as to who would play Whitney Houston in a movie about her life. The U.K. Daily Mail sees Rihanna as being the top choice to play the songstress (she has a role in the upcoming action flick “Battleship”). Others on the list include Vivica A. Fox, Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson (who sang a tribute to Houston at the Grammys) and “American Idol” alum Jordin Sparks. Clive Davis, Houston’s musical mentor and friend, is taking charge of the project, and apparently wants to get the ball rolling ASAP.
