A Springfield man was charged with fatally stabbing an acquaintance at a Fairfax County restaurant on Wednesday.
Police said Lam Dang, 40, of the 6800 block of Floyd Avenue, was charged Thursday with murder in the death of Tieu L. Nguyet, 37, of Falls Church.
Dang allegedly attacked Nguyet with a knife at the 5T Bar and Grill, located at 7052 Spring Garden Drive, at about 6:40 p.m. He then stabbed himself, police said.
Nguyet died from trauma to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene. Dang is hospitalized in stable condition.
