Why did the head of Google lead an effort to recover sunken rocket engines?

The two huge engines, originally part of a mammoth Saturn rocket, were salvaged from the bottom of the ocean to be restored for later display. Though a team led by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos fished the engines out off Cape Canaveral, Fla., the engines are still the property of NASA. Bezos’ space company, Blue Origins, has a NASA contract to develop a private space taxi to the International Space Station.
