Diva, a European-inspired boutique, is a breath of fresh air for the fabulous and fashionable women of Annapolis.
“At Diva, we believe shopping should be an indulgent experience with uncompromising personal service and attention to detail,” said co-owner Laura Bevilacqua.
“That?s why we are dedicated to providing superior service to our clients and will offer private personal shopping services by appointment. We will treat every woman like a Diva.”
Since opening this May, Diva offers the latest fashions from the most coveted designers.
Inspired by the owners? Italian heritage and keen eye for style, Diva is known for its constantly changing inventory.
Co-owners Bevilacqua and Michele Deckman want to help their customers keep pace with the most sought-after trends.
Bevilacqua, a native of Genoa, Italy, and a longtime Anne Arundel County resident, has nearly 20 years of experience in the fashion and retail industry.
Her experience includes marketing and merchandising for IAM Inc., owners of several Benetton stores in the Washington metro area, and creating her own “Laura Bevilacqua” fashion line of leather handbags, cashmere sweaters, gloves, and silk scarves, made exclusively in Italy.
Bevilacqua always has dreamed of having her own boutique where she can share her heritage of Italian style and fashion sense.
Deckman, an entrepreneur and Annapolis resident for more than 25 years, also has family roots in Genoa, Italy. Not to mention, her grandmother was a dressmaker, so it?s safe to say fashion is in her genes.
With her impeccable personal fashion sense and flair for design, she?s a major contributor to Diva?s sophisticated aesthetic and unbeatable merchandise.
“We believe we offer something for every woman, but especially those women who feel they have to drive to Chevy Chase, Tysons Corner or Georgetown to find the latest styles or hottest designers.” Deckman said.
“We are bringing high fashion to our own back yard.”
The best part about Diva is its wide appeal and range.
The boutique carries pieces for all tastes and ages.
This isn?t a store for moms, twentysomethings or teens. It?s a store for all of them to go together.
People no longer have to travel to a number of different shops to cater to the variety that exists in their life. Diva carries wardrobe pieces for every facet.
Diva?s Hollywood and New York-driven merchandise includes clothing from designers such as Black Halo, Christopher Deanne, Pink Tartan, Tom K. Gyuen, Jenny Jen, Three Dots, Theory, Tag, Tavernitti So, J Brand, Petro Zillia, Johnson Shorts, Cosabella and Mac & Jac.
Diva also carries shoes by Betsy Johnson, Laundry by Shelly Segal and Roberto Botella.
Accessories include handbags by Francesco Biasia and Laura Bevilacqua and sunglasses by FENDI and Michael by Michael Kors.
