Construction closes part of Chicago River bridge

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago River bridge at State Street will be closed for a week starting as construction continues for the Chicago Riverwalk.

Chicago Department of Transportation officials say the State Street bridge will be closed to all traffic beginning at 6 a.m. Monday through 6 a.m. July 21.
