Media mock Trump for misidentifying former DNC chairwoman as ‘Wendy’

The media ridiculed President Trump on Twitter Friday after he mistakenly called former Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, “Wendy,” in a tweet.

The tweet came in response to the DNC filing a lawsuit against his campaign, Russia, and WikiLeaks for allegedly colluding to tilt the election in favor of Trump.

“Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI, the Wendy Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails,” Trump tweeted.

“I don’t think Wendy Wasserman Schultz is a real person.” MSNBC’s Kyle Griffin said.

His mocking tone was echoed by other journalists.

Trump later deleted that tweet and replaced it with the correct name.
