WATCH: Trump holds ‘MAGA’ rally in Tennessee

President Trump is holding a “Make America Great Again” rally in Chattanooga, Tenn. to stump for Republican Marsha Blackburn, who is running against former Democratic Gov. Phil Bredeson, for a U.S. Senate seat.

The rally is scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Blackburn and Bredesen are vying to replace retiring Republican Sen. Bob Corker. Generally Blackburn has been ahead in the polls, but two recent surveys show Blackburn losing her lead to tie with her Democratic opponent.

Republicans view Tennessee as a “firewall” state protecting them from the loss of the chamber. Trump won the state’s 11 electoral votes by 26 points in the 2016 presidential elections.

Trump’s rally in Tennessee comes hours after an earlier rally in Georgia. Trump’s been busy campaigning this weekend as he also held two rallies in Montana and Florida respectively on Saturday.

Trump is expected to rally through Monday in a final push to help Republican candidates before Tuesday’s midterm elections. He is slated to rally next in Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri on Monday.
