Former CNN host and anti-gun crusader Piers Morgan has spent years telling Americans to curb their Second Amendment rights. But having failed at that, he is now in the business of demanding the colonists give up their First Amendment right to free speech.
Morgan took to Twitter on Monday calling for any white American who uses the “N-word” to receive jail time.
What would I do with white people who use the N-word? Jail them.

He even took aim at conservative Ben Shapiro for criticizing his stance. Shapiro accused Morgan of looking to take away the freedoms included in the First Amendment.

The United Kingdom, where Morgan is a citizen, has criminalized many forms of speech. A tweet can land someone a criminal investigation and jail time.
In America, all kinds of speech, including offensive speech, receive protection. Such was the case when Nazis were allowed to march in the Jewish neighborhoods of Skokie, Illinois.
Morgan’s view of the First and Second Amendment are representative of his homeland, where someone can say an offensive comment online and land a criminal investigation. Yet, in the same country, thousands of young women are raped by Muslim men and years go by without a criminal investigation, because police fear being called “racists.”
