OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Graduation gowns and mortar boards have long been packed away, but the high school experience continues for hundreds of Oklahoma teenagers unable to prove they have learned enough to earn a diploma.

Unless they want to re-enroll for another senior year or do without a diploma, an estimated 2,000 students have until July 27 to pass end-of-instruction tests in algebra I, English II and two tests from among algebra II, biology, English III, geometry and U.S. history.
