The Maryland Army National Guard is expected to provide medical assistance to civilians in Senegal later this month.
About 25 soldiers are expected to leave from the Guard’s Medical Detachment, based in Reisterstown.
They will provide medical, dental and eye care services to between 500 and 700 patients per day in Africa.
