PORTERVILLE, Calif. (AP) — A plan to manage the health of the Giant Sequoia National Monument is being opposed by 10 groups who have problems with its wording.
Groups as disparate as lumber distributor Sierra Forest Products and the Sierra Club have appealed the U.S. Forest Service’s decision on the management plan.
