The AP is reporting that Kate Middleton and her family, father Michael, mother Carole and siblings James and Pippa, have taken over a posh hotel in London, just a stones throw from Buckingham Palace. The Goring Hotel has hosted royals over the years, including Queen Elizabeth II, who visited the establishment with her family shortly at World War II.
The hotel has erected a canopy over the entrance of the hotel in order to shield Kate from onlookers as she emerges in her wedding gown Friday morning. People who have gathered outside the wedding hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride-to-bed were given tea and sandwiches from the hotel staff.
The hotel is less than 10 minutes away from Westminster Abbey by car, ensuring Kate will arrive promptly to the ceremony Friday morning.
