Under Armour, the Baltimore-based performance apparel company, will be holding the first annual Under Armour All-American Lacrosse Classic. The event will be held at Towson University?s Unitas Stadium on June 18, with a boys and girls game between the top players from around the country.
Each team will consist of 44 members, who will be dubbed Under Armour All-Americans. The teams will be chosen by committees chaired by former Baltimore Bayhawk Gary Gait and former Georgetown women?s coach and current Bryn Mawr coach Kim Simons.
The boys and girls committees will also include staff from Inside Lacrosse Magazine, and former University of Maryland coach Dick Edell.
Boys? Latin coach Bob Shriver will be coaching the South team in the All-American game.
