House Speaker Paul Ryan revealed he knows how to dab.
“I actually do know what a dab is, just for the record” Ryan told CNN’s Jake Tapper during a town hall interview.
Ryan then dabbed.
In early January, the Wisconsin Republican appeared confused as a lawmaker’s son began dabbing during a mock swearing-in at the Capitol.
During a photo opportunity with Ryan, GOP Rep. Roger Marshall’s son raised his arm across his face.
Ryan asked the young man if he was all right.
“He wasn’t doing a dab by the way,” Ryan told Tapper on Thursday. “It looks like he was sneezing … Cam Newton dabs.”
