Ted Danson loves Clinton with ‘every fiber of my being’

Hollywood power couple Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen were in New Hampshire Tuesday campaigning for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

“I love her with every fiber of my being,” Danson said during a Clinton rally at Alvirne High School in Hudson, N.H., according to the Lowell Sun.

Steenburgen spoke to New York Times reporter Nick Corasaniti about why she is supporting Clinton over her only Democratic rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

“I think she’s smart,” she said. “If you laid out every single resume of every presidential candidate and took their names off and their gender off, there’s only one that stands out as being the world’s most qualified person to be in this role for all the different reasons.”

“She happens to be a woman, which would be such an amazing thing for this planet. I’m very much for her, and proud to be so,” she added.

This wouldn’t be the first time Clinton has enlisted her famous friends to help her presidential chances. She has also campaigned alongside the likes of “Girls” star Lena Dunham, along with pop stars Katy Perry and Demi Lovato.

Sanders has also had a few big names stumping for him on the campaign trail. Oscar winning-actress Susan Sarandon pitched in for Sanders in Iowa, and “Gone Girl” star Emily Ratajkowski introduced him in New Hampshire.
