Columbia-based Corporate Office Properties Trust today will meet with officials from Harford County and the City of Aberdeen to break ground on the first 84,000-square-foot building in North Gate Business Park@APG, a new business community that will ultimately total 765,000 square feet of space.

The business community is located next to Aberdeen Proving Ground off Route 22.

More than 100 business leaders are expected to participate in and attend the event including Randall Griffin, president and CEO of COPT, Harford County Executive David Craig and Aberdeen Mayor Michael Bennett. U.S. Congressman C.A. “Dutch” Ruppersberger is tentatively scheduled to attend.
