Trump reelection campaign starts hiring binge, Beto too

President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign is getting serious, starting a hiring binge with a focus on digital and social media.

According to the Washington Daybook, which has been posting 2020 campaign jobs online, the campaign posted this listing: “The Trump Campaign will build a team to assist the president’s re-election in 2020. Please apply here to Keep America Great. If you are a good fit, we will be in contact.”

The job positions to be filled first involve the following areas: social media, fundraising, political, legal, research, creative, data and IT, communication, coalitions and outreach, and internship.

The campaign also has a button on its webpage to apply through.

Trump joins about a dozen Democrats staffing up for the 2020 primaries and general election.

That includes former Rep. Beto O’Rourke who lists openings in “multiple states.”

His statement for Daybook said, “Beto for America is the team working to build a grassroots movement and win the Democratic nomination for president. Our campaign will be positive, and it will be powered by volunteers. This is a campaign by all of us for all of us. Our staff will not just focus on the traditional battleground states. We’re offering meaningful volunteer roles for people wherever they are — from Alaska to Puerto Rico.”
