By the Numbers: Pelosi’s hubby tackled by football investment

$5 million: Amount that Paul Pelosi, the wealthy husband of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., lost in 2010 on the the former California Redwoods of the United Football League. According to the annual financial disclosure forms released Wednesday, Paul reported losing between $1 million and $5 million on the California Redwoods — which he renamed the Sacramento Mountain Lions last year — a hit that he took despite pouring additional funds into the team.
