Due to Columbus Day, we headed to Four Seasons on a Tuesday instead of our regular Monday, and the place was packed with people well-rested from the three-day weekend.
Atlantic Media’s David Bradley (Yeas & Nays breakfast batting average at the Four Seasons: .775) dined with Atlantic Media President John Galloway and Atlantic’s president of consumer media, Justin Smith, who will soon move to Washington from New York.
Akin Gump’s Patrick Fenn, who heads the firm’s tax practice group in the New York office, dined alone, perhaps proving the assumption that tax people don’t always make the most stimulating breakfast companions. Colonial Parking executive Rusty Lindner, however, did have a dining partner at his table.
A fun addition to the room was seven women visiting from Italy to attend the Washington debut of the famed La Scala Philharmonic. But they weren’t the only international visitors: A delegation from Nigeria also started its Tuesday with some Four Seasons grub.
