Gingrich’s ‘Morning in America’ ad?

It’s not as sunny as Reagan’s Morning in America ad, but Gingrich perhaps is looking to evoke the former president’s optimistic tone.

Gingrich’s newest ad opens with a sunset, and he insists that “the America we know and love” is not fading, and that  working together I know we can rebuild America.”

The ad features traditional scenes from Americana, such as a Texas cowboy, a country church, a steel factory, and a farmer striding through a wheat field.
