Police obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in a shooting over the weekend in Prince George’s County — one of several recent violent incidents in the county.
Khayn Leroy Hudson was identified as a suspect in Sunday morning’s shooting in the 2500 block of Afton Street. The arrest warrant charges him with attempted first-degree murder, Prince George’s police said.
Police believe Hudson shot a man about 11:30 a.m. Sunday during an attempted armed robbery. It was the last in a spate of shootings over the weekend that left five people dead and seven wounded.
Hudson is about 18 years old, 5-feet-10-inches and 160 pounds, police said.
