Rep. Blunt gets flak for liking Social Safeway

The Missouri Democratic Party is going after Rep. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., for attending the May 5 gala at Georgetown’s Social Safeway and having a good time, according to the Georgetown Dish. “The nonchalant behavior at a Washington elite social function serves as yet another reminder of how Congressman Blunt has come a long way from Springfield to become the very worst of Washington during his last 13 years there,” argue the Democrats. They put together a YouTube video of Blunt chatting happily about his neighborhood’s grocery store and also hanging out with Tareq and Michaele Salahi.
