Local real estate firm JBG Cos. will break ground on a new National Institutes of Health complex next to the Twinbrook Metro station on Wednesday.
The complex will include a 10-story building intended to house 2,000 employees of the federal National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, NIAID Deputy Director Hugh Auchincloss, JBG partner Rod Lawrence and General Services Administration Regional Administrator Julia Hudson and Deputy Regional Commissioner Thomas James will participate in Wednesday’s ceremony, which is set to take place at 9:30 a.m. at 5609 Fishers Lane in Rockville.
