President Obama’s former White House photographer Pete Souza is hitting the “campaign trail” with another president.
Netflix hired Souza to capture “House of Cards” president Frank Underwood during his visit to Washington, D.C., on Monday.
Souza posted photos on his Instagram of Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, at Union Station and the Foggy Bottom-GWU metro station.
Featured in the photos was also Underwood’s chief of staff, Doug Stamper, who is played by Michael Kelly.
Souza has spent the first few months of Donald Trump’s presidency throwing shade at Obama’s successor.
His recent Instagram posts about Obama are deliberately timed to contrast Obama’s time in office with the chaotic news cycle during Trump’s presidency.
Netflix is releasing the fifth season of “House of Cards” on May 30.
