Trump’s Twitter tops all leading 2020 Democrats in most states

Gamblers are digging deep for tricks to gaming the 2020 presidential race, and the latest is looking at social media for help.

Betonline.ag shared a U.S. map of Trump and Democratic Twitter hashtags that shows the president’s supporters dominating in 38 states with 365 electoral votes. 270 are needed to win.

In fact, in those 38 states, “pro-Trump hashtags are used more than all 10 of the Democratic candidate hashtags combined,” said the betting service.

Most of the Twitter map drawn up by Betonline.ag is GOP red. The blue states are Washington, Oregon, California, Michigan, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

Over 1 million tweets were tracked and included #trump2020 #kag2020 #bernie2020 #biden2020 etc., including catchphrase hashtags such as #feelthebern and #yanggang.

“While recent polls have shown Trump trailing the top Democratic candidates, from a social media perspective he is dominating,” said the report shared with Secrets.

Only about 22% of American adults use Twitter, but it has a loud voice in politics.

Betonline.ag said, for example, “While social media data always has to be taken with a grain of salt in terms of what it actually means, one certainly can be made in that Trump supporters are very active and loud on social media platforms, especially Twitter.”
