WHO: Department of Transportation WHAT: The Tuscaloosa Transportation Museum received a $1 million grant from a federal Transportation Enhancement grant.

WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: The money is being spent on renovations and updates, while the grant was intended, “to help expand transportation choices and enhance the transportation experience,” according to the Department of Transportation’s Web site. Do we really consider museums to be “infrastructure”?

WHERE TO VENT: Call the inspector general at 800-424-9183.
