Fans started chanting, “Let’s go Brandon,” on Wednesday during a sold-out Morgan Wallen concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Along with the slight against President Joe Biden, fans also chanted “USA” during the 28-year-old country music star’s show, according to a report. The chanting reportedly began between the singer’s sets.

The controversial phrase “Let’s go Brandon” originated at a Florida NASCAR race when a journalist misreported the chant “F*** Joe Biden” as praise toward driver Brandon Brown.

The New York City performance is part of Wallen’s “The Dangerous Tour,” which comes on the heels of controversy after footage was released in February 2021 of the singer using a racial slur.
