Police search for suspected Christmas Day killer

Montgomery County police said they were searching for the 27-year-old roommate of a man fatally stabbed in a Rockville apartment on Christmas Day.

Miguel Rodriguez Lainez has been charged with second-degree murder and is accused of stabbing 25-year-old Manuel Oscar Martinez to death during an early morning argument Friday, police said. Lainez left the apartment on the 200 block of Frederick Avenue after the fight and hasn’t been seen since.
