Immigrant groups: NYC can handle influx of minors

New York (AP) — New York City officials and immigrant advocates say the city is ready to handle the recent influx of undocumented minors from Central America.

Several groups, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Catholic Charities, Terra Firma and the Mayor’s office, held a press conference at the New York Immigration Coalition Wednesday to address the issue.
