Donald Trump Jr. isn’t worried about Allen Weisselberg flipping on the Trump Organization for one main reason: “There’s nothing there to flip on.”
The former first son discussed New York Attorney General Letitia James’s investigation of the Trump Organization during an exclusive interview with the Washington Examiner.

“James campaigned on the fact that they’re going to get Donald Trump, they’re going to make his life hell, they’re going to sue him to oblivion,” he said. “That was before she ever worked in an office that had any actual evidence, and that’s the problem.”
“They got exactly what they wanted out of it, whether it was clicks, whether it was the ability to drive a narrative, and that’s what they’re going to continue to do,” the former first son said.
Weisselberg, the longtime chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, is reportedly cooperating with James’s efforts after being wrapped up in a tax investigation of his own. The Washington Examiner pressed Trump Jr. on the possibility that Weisselberg, someone who, “for lack of a better term, knows where all the bodies are buried.”
“The reality is, there’s nothing there to turn on,” Trump Jr. responded. “We’ve run a great company. We have incredible assets. We’re doing well despite all of this extra nonsense. “

“You know, that’s the reality of it. It’s not like there’s something there that’s hidden. So, you know, they’re going to do what they’re gonna do,” he said. “They’re going to put as much pain as they can on anyone in our, in our hemisphere. That’s what they’ve done. That’s their history, and that’s all it is.”
