Congressional chatter at 701

701 Restaurant in Penn Quarter was the place for a little congressional dinner on Tuesday night. According to a Yeas & Nays spy, Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., had dinner together at one table, Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., sat at another table nearby. In addition to the congressmen, we’re told the Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer also dined at the restaurant that evening. No report on what they ordered, but our source tells us that each of the guests were sporting suits.
