Arnold Schwarzenegger still voted for John Kasich in the California primary

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly rebuffed Donald Trump and still cast his primary ballot for John Kasich instead.

Daniel Ketchell, who works in digital media for Schwarzenegger, responded on Twitter to a Los Angeles Times political writer and confirmed Schwarzenegger voted for Kasich in the California primary.

Schwarzenegger endorsed Kasich before the former Ohio governor suspended his presidential campaign, and has remained reticent about getting on board with the real estate tycoon since Trump became the presumptive nominee. He dodged last month when asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether he was backing Trump.

“I will make an announcement before the election, you can be sure of that,” Schwarzenegger said.
