SNL: Carson endorsed because Trump ‘gave me a muffin’ [VIDEO]

Following last week’s Cold Open, Saturday Night Live continued the trend with another CNN analysis of the 2016 election.

Darrel Hammond’s Donald Trump took the stage to announce Ben Carson’s endorsement. He noted Carson “is a very special man, and for once I don’t mean that as an insult to the mentally challenged.”

Jay Pharaoh then came on s Ben Carson, being ” positively turnt” to endorse Trump.

On the “two different Donald Trumps,” Carson says that there’s another, friendlier Trump, who Carson says “I had breakfast earlier today with for 10 minutes,” who “gave me a muffin.”

Trump got Carson off the stage with the call to “let’s get this guy a juice box and a nap.” Carson waved goodbye to America, adding in “it’s been weird.”

Larry David also reprised his role as Bernie Sanders, “Mr. Presidential Candidate,” to discuss his upset of a Michigan win. For those who did not vote for him, he wanted to apologize “for making your Facebook feed so, so annoying.” For those supporters who post often, Sanders says “get a life.”

Sanders also had something to say about super delegates, wondering:

Who goes around calling themselves that? It’s so cocky! They walk around like they’re such big shots. Ooh, I beg your pardon, Mr. Super Delegate, let me tell you something, I met some of these super delegates. They’re not so super. Mediocre delegates is more like it.

Sanders dismissed the idea that he would need super delegates, since he has the voters, “a very diverse group of white people.” He also has voters of all ages, with “18 year olds, 19 year olds. Eh, that’s it.” Sanders believes young people resonate with him because he’s like them in that he has “big plans and absolutely no idea how to achieve them.”

Carson was also revealed to be the victim of violence at a Trump rally. Trump and Carson then returned to the stage, with Trump chastising his supporters. “Guys, what did I say? Not this one! This is one of the good ones.”

It then cut back to Sanders, who was already so quickly in his pajamas because he wears them under his suit, which he offered is the reason why they’re so baggy.
