Henrik Olssen Lilja, the Swedish lawyer of rapper A$AP Rocky, was shot in Stockholm, Sweden in an apparent ambush.
An unidentified male attacker shot Lilja in the head and the chest Friday morning outside of his apartment building according to TMZ.
Lilja called the police himself and was taken to the hospital. Police are investigating the incident as an isolated event, and it remains unknown what motivated the shooting.
“The police have arrested several people for questioning. The investigation is at an intense stage and the police are working on several different fronts to make progress,” the Swedish Police Authority said.
Lilja represented A$AP Rocky after the rapper was jailed in Sweden for his involvement in a street fight. He was replaced as the rapper’s lawyer before the trial began.
A$AP Rocky is back in the United States and was handed a two-year suspended sentence.
President Trump made the return of the rapper to the U.S. a political priority, even feuding with the Swedish prime minister when he refused to release him, and praised the rapper’s return to the U.S.
A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden. It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!
