NW Indiana school revives ag education program

LACROSSE, Ind. (AP) — A northwestern Indiana school is reviving its hands-on agricultural science program for the upcoming school year, joining a growing trend.

LaCrosse High School Principal Tim Somers says agriculture is one of the professions students can go into as soon as they graduate from high school. However, the program also benefits those planning on higher education in agricultural or medical fields.
