HOUMA, La. (AP) — The Terrebonne Parish Economic Development Authority has announced plans to send a developer to China in what it calls a three-month networking mission.
A news release from the authority says Kristen Legendre (leh-ZHAWN) is to set up a base in Weihai (WAY’-high) City in early July. Legendre will establish business relationships in Weihai, which is a sister city to Terrebonne Parish.
The General Foreign Affairs Office of Weihai City will serve as Legendre’s host. Terrebonne Parish hosted a Chinese official on an economic development mission earlier this year.
