Comedian Wanda Sykes says racism is what is fueling Republicans efforts to repeal President Obama’s signature entitlement program.
“It’s racism,” Sykes said during a Friday appearance on “The View”. “That’s it! They hate having a black president and they want to get rid of it. That’s what it is.”
Sykes has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration and was booed during a November appearance in Boston for calling him a racist and homophobe. She responded by cursing and giving the audience the middle finger.
“They’re just trying to erase anything that President Obama did,” Sykes added. “I bet you they want to act like that man never existed.”
She also criticized Trump for not attending this year’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner saying, “I can’t say the word that I want to call him. It begins with a P.”
