Crossroads GPS ties Occupy violence to Warren

Crossroads GPS, the 501c4 organization affiliated with American Crossroads, began a $1.8 million television ad buy today attacking Democratic Senate candidates in five states: Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and Virginia, and Nebraska. The Massachusetts ad, titled “Foundation,” hits Elizabeth Warren for claiming she is the intellectual foundation of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

“Fourteen million Americans out of work, but instead of focusing on jobs, Elizabeth Warren sides with extreme left protests  At Occupy Wall Street, protesters attack police, do drugs, and trash public parks. They support radical redistribution of wealth and violence. But Warren boasts, “I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do. … I support what they do.” Intellectual foundation for what? We need jobs, not intellectual theories and radical protests.”

You can view the other four ads at Crossroads GPS. The Warren ad is the only one that mentions Occupy Wall Street.

Yesterday, Crossroads launched a separate $2.6 million campaign attacking President Obama for raising taxes. That ad will run for two weeks in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania
