Montgomery seeking student workers for Election Day

Montgomery County is looking for 2,000 middle and high school students to be Election Day student aides.

Students and their guardians are required to attend training. Students would be placed in a precinct near their home.

The program is open to public, private and home-school students in the county. Students who are bilingual and with American Sign Language skills are especially encouraged to apply.

Interested guardians can register students online prior to the Aug. 6 deadline at the Montgomery County Board of Elections website, www.777vote.org.
