Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore took his traditional ride on horseback to his polling place to vote in Tuesday’s special election.
Moore rode his horse, Sassy, to vote at the Gallant Fire Department. His wife, Kayla, joined him on her own horse.
The conservative judge rides Sassy to vote on every election day, according to AL.com.
“I think it’s a good thing to do,” Moore said in September. “I won the last time I rode a horse, I think maybe have good favor.”
Moore, a Republican, is facing Democrat Doug Jones in the Senate special election to fill the seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
