President Obama made a plug for paying women athletes the same as men as he welcomed the WNBA 2015 champions, the Minnesota Lynx, to the White House Monday.
Quoting one of the players who said: “‘We are not super rich like the guys, but money is not everything.'” Obama added: “Although money is useful too,” to laughs.
“And I am for equal pay for equal work,” Obama said.
