Woman grabbed near Fairfax school

  • A female student was grabbed by a stranger while she was walking near a Fairfax County high school.

    The 19-year-old woman, who attends Robert E. Lee High School, was grabbed from behind when she was walking on Cimarron Street near Apache Street at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to Fairfax County police.

    The man fled after the woman screamed.

    Police described the suspect as an adult Hispanic or light-skinned black man, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and having a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket and dark blue jeans.

    Police have stepped up patrols around the school.
