It’s been four days since NBC weatherman Al Roker reminisced about how he “pooped” his pants while walking through the White House several years ago, but it’s only taken two days for this TMI moment to be transformed into Al Roker’s first single.
In what is sure to be one of the hottest hits of 2013, YouTube user Andrew Frederick songifies the exchange between Roker and “Dateline” medical correspondent Nancy Snyderman when the weatherman confesses he “pooped” his pants on national television.

Add some auto-tuning, a catchy chorus (“come on everybody do the dookie dance”), and some fresh beats and wa la: “The Al Roker Remix: The Dookie Dance.” Who knows? Maybe the Dookie Dance will be the next “Dougie.” Or maybe the weatherman will come out with his own song: “Remix 2: There’s a 100 percent chance I pooped my pants.”

In case you somehow missed Roker’s shining moment on ‘Dateline,’ the weatherman admitted to Snyderman on air that he sharted while visiting the White House back in 2002 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. The story doesn’t stop there. He had to ditch his underwear in the trash and go “commando.” Roker then continued to go about his business at the White House after accidentally doing his business in his pants.
Roker has showed no shame since his poop story went viral and has continued full force on his book tour for Never Goin’ Back, a story chronicling his weight loss journey. Maybe next year, he can go on tour for his hit single “The Dookie Dance.” We can only hope.
