Former Rep. Alan Grayson is running a fundraising campaign supporting Jon Ossoff, the Democrat in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District that’s set to be decided in Tuesday’s special election.
But there’s a catch to Grayson’s fundraising assistance.
In the online ad — headlined “Make Trump Angry, Support Jon Ossoff” — Grayson includes a small disclaimer: “Your contribution will be divided evenly between Jon Ossoff and Alan Grayson.”
Grayson is a far-left, two-time former Democratic representative in Florida who ran a failed campaign for Senate last year.
Ossoff is running against Republican Karen Handel in Georgia’s GOP-leaning 6th Congressional District in what has become the most expensive House race in U.S. history.
