The identities of two bodies found in Harford County were released by police Friday.
Lillian Abramowicz Phelps, 43, of Cecil County, was found Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. off Oakington Road in Havre de Grace. She was reported missing to the Maryland State Police on June 9, but had not been seen since May 30.
State police are ruling Phelps? death a murder, but are not releasing the cause of death.
Shiela Ann Turner, 42, of Holly Circle in Aberdeen, was discovered in a field in Perryman near the Rite Aid distribution center in the afternoon of June 2. Turner was reported missing on May 26. Harford County sheriff?s deputies are investigating Turner?s death as a homicide, but they are not releasing the cause of death.
“We?re uncertain at this time of any linkage,” said Bob Thomas, spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff?s Office. Thomas said sheriff?s deputies and state troopers are comparing the two cases for similarities.
